Duck

Released May 15th 2026

“Duck” is the story of the fastest duck alive, with a driving beat, guitars, synths, and
plenty of quacking!

It’s a song I wrote for my beginner guitar students, designed to be fun, easy to play,
and easy to quack along to. After all, what could be an easier chorus to sing along to
than “Quack!”?

Like most of my songs, it involves quirky animal characters — this one being a turbocharged
duck with heat-shielding feathers and absolutely no respect for speed limits.

Lyrics:

Try to spot him and you’re out of luck
Flying through the air he’s a supersonic duck
Wings flap so fast it’s kind of insane
shooting through the clouds faster than a plane

Oh oh oh (Quack quack quack)

He travels around the world and all the way back
You probably won’t see him but you might hear him quack
A long beak webbed feet and tail feathers too
If you get in his way he’ll be quacking at you

Oh oh oh (Quack quack quack)

You might think re-entry would burn him alive
But he’s got heat shielding feathers so he’ll probably survive
You can’t see him with radar or with satellite
He’s the fastest thing alive with the power of flight

Oh oh oh (Quack quack quack)
Oh oh oh (Quack quack quack)
Oh oh oh (Quack quack quack)
Oh oh oh (Quack quack quack)
Oh (Quack!)
