“Hop-a-potamus” is a fun kids’ song from Refractive Music Kids that tells the story of a hippo who’s also part kangaroo.
It’s an acoustic guitar-based track in a folk-rock style, inspired by the ’60s and is slightly psychedelic. In a tribute to the Beatles it features sitar and mellotron, and finishes with a guitar solo.
Designed to inspire creativity and be fun for children and families, it’s also easy to learn to play on guitar.
